Who We Are

Animation Ghana is a non-profit organization promoting the art, craft and profession of animation as well as the development of a sustainable animation industry in Ghana.

Vision

Ghana’s animation industry is recognized internationally and is the biggest in Africa.

Aims

1) Increase public awareness about animation.

2) Invite international animation artists to Ghana from time to time to lead workshops and showcase their portfolios to aspiring animation artists to inspire them.

3) Recognize and reward animation talent through award programmes.

4) Represent and promote the interests of artists, educators and producers.

5) Promote Ghanaian animation creativity internationally through participation in international animation festivals, exhibitions and competitions.

Goals

1. To own and operate world-class animation studios with complete training and production equipment by 2025.

2, To recruit, train and transform more than 1,000 aspiring and amateur artists into professional artists by 2035.

3. To develop and preserve affordable and sustainable space where artists can live and work by 2040.
